Why Doesn't BibleWorks Install To My Netbook Computer?

The failure of BibleWorks to install to a netbook computer can have several possible causes:

1.  BibleWorks requires Windows, and many netbooks have been equipped with other operating systems, such as Linux. To install BibleWorks under Linux or another non-Windows operating system, see the FAQs in this knowledge base for that specific operating system.

2.  Not only does BibleWorks require the Windows environment, but it requires a FULL VERSION of Windows.   Reduced set versions of Windows, such as Windows 7 Starter or Windows CE, will not support BibleWorks. Windows 7 Starter, which was designed primarily for netbooks, cannot support programs of BibleWorks's size.

3.  If the program begins to install on the netbook but doesn't complete, it's also likely the netbook doesn't have enough memory to install BibleWorks.  Minimum memory requirements for BibleWorks are listed here.

4.  If none of the above problems exist, and BibleWorks still doesn't install on the netbook, please consult the FAQs in this knowledge base under Usage/Tutorial | Installation, as in this case the problem is likely not in the netbook but involves some other installation issue.
