In BibleWorks 7, 8 & 9, one is able to enter notes relative to the content in the Browse Window.  Notes can be entered to correspond to the text on a verse or chapter level, as determined by a checkbox near the top of the window.  The "Chapter" checkbox is one of several items that appears in that area, circled in the illustration below.

This area, called the "Header", can be hidden, if one desires to do so.  The setting for doing so is found on the context menu that one can access from the Analysis Window.  Called the "Analysis Window Header" the setting will control the display of the header area in the Analysis tab, the Editor tab, and the Notes tab of the Analysis Window.  To turn the display of this part of these windows "on" or "off", one would take the following steps:

1. Click the Analysis tab to make it active.
2. Move the mouse pointer anywhere within the open Analysis Window area.
3. Click once with the right mouse button to display the context-sensitive menu.
4. Find and click "Toggle Analysis Window Heading".  (Circled in red in illustration below)

If the heading area has suddenly disappeared, this should be the first place to check.
