Why Does LSJM Appear Incorrectly As A Resource in BibleWorks 8?

The Liddell-Scott Greek-English Lexicon, or LSJM for short, is an optional, add-on module available for BibleWorks 7 and BibleWorks 8. To have this resource available, it is necessary to purchase an unlock code for it.
Some customers that have purchased BibleWorks 8 have discovered the LSJM in the list of available Greek lexicons in the BibleWorks lexicons browser, even when the resource has not been purchased. Clicking on the item in the list, though, causes an error. The error occurs, of course, because the files for the lexicon are not actually present.
This condition has been caused by a spurious file in the installation media that produces the appearance that the lexicon has actually been installed when, in fact, it has not. This will be corrected in a future release set of the BibleWorks 8 media.
In the meantime, we suggest that if the item does indeed appear in the list of lexicons, do not click on it if you know that you have not purchased the resource, as it will only serve to produce an error. If it causes a persistent problem associated with other parts of the program, we suggest that the program be removed and reinstalled.
