Why Shouldn't I Deselect Items Already Marked in CUSTOM Installation?

The BibleWorks installation presents two options during the process. One can choose FULL, in which case all program data will be installed to the computer. This will require about 5.5 Gigabytes of hard drive space. The updates performed thereafter will add to this amount of data stored. This is stated in the system requirements for the program. See http://www.bibleworks.com/content/sys-req.html

Some computers, however, do not have enough extra hard drive space to accomodate the full program. Also, some users simply do not want to install all that is available for the program. For this reason, there is the CUSTOM installation option. A list box opens that contains a number of items that can be installed with the program. It is possible to continue with no other boxes checked than those that were already checked when the list box opened.

The items for which the boxes have already been checked are integral to the operation of the program. They MUST NOT BE DESELECTED. Occasionally one will say, I don't need the King James Version. I don't use it. Perhaps the customer does not use the KJV, but BibleWorks does. That is to say, the way the program is written, it expects certain databases to be present, and the KJV database is one of several that fit this description. If that is deselected during installation, then the program will likely encounter errors at some point later. This applies to all items that are checked when the box opens.

Therefore, if the CUSTOM installation option is chosen, one can add more items from the list, but those already there must not be removed.
