This message will occur if BibleWorks is unable to recognize the font file installed under Windows.

This condition may arise for a number of reasons, but the result will always be that BibleWorks attempts to access the fonts, for which the information is not fully correct, and the error message will display.

The solution to this problem is to replace the BibleWorks Greek and Hebrew fonts installed in Windows at the time with the latest version of the same fonts. This procedure is also a good means to reinstall the BibleWorks fonts if you are having font display problems within the BibleWorks program.

The best way to accomplish this is with the following steps.
1. Restart your computer and do not open BibleWorks.
2. Visit our website (www.bibleworks.com) and click SUPPORT on the menu bar.
3. From the drop-down menu, choose DOWNLOADS.
4. On the Downloads page, click the “Click here” link for the Free Greek and Hebrew Fonts.
5. On the BibleWorks Fonts page, click the “Click here for the Zip file” link.
6. Save the file to a place on your computer that will be easy to find.
7. Extract the contents of the zip file to C:\\Program Files (x86)\\BibleWorks X. (X = the number of the BibleWorks version you are using. Adjust the path if you have redirected the installation of the program to another location.
If you are using a non-64 bit version of Windows the path will be C:\\Program Files\\BibleWorks X)
8. Open the BibleWorks Trouble-Shooting Options menu by holding down Shift when you start BibleWorks. (Methods for accessing this menu will vary depending on the version of Windows in use.  Click here for more information on how to access the Bibleworks Trouble-Shooting Options Menu.)
9. From the Option 2 section, choose the option to reinstall the BibleWorks fonts on next reboot.
10. Click the button to “Perform selected action & exit.”
11.Restart Windows.
12.Once back in Windows, start BibleWorks to determine whether the font problem has been corrected.
