Accessing the BibleWorks Install/Reconfigure menu from a downloaded installation requires the BibleWorks installation files. Depending on the time of your original download, the installation files were in one of two formats: an ISO installation file, or a folder of installation files.

For PC (ISO file):

Please follow these steps if you downloaded a large .iso file. The media image file, called the "ISO" or "Installer file", needs first to be mounted on the computer as a virtual drive, where it will appear in a way similar to the hard disk drive or to drives inserted into USB ports.  Use the following instructions to mount this image and then to access the menu.

1. Close all programs, then restart your computer.

2. Go to Start | Computer (or to This PC in Windows 8) and double check that the ISO file is mounted and showing, in the list of drives on the left, as BW10DVD1. If it is not, please navigate to where you have saved this file from having followed these download instructions and remount it by following instructions 2 through 5 under "Install the Program".

3. Double-click on BW10DVD1 in the list of mounted devices.

4. Navigate to the file setup.exe and run it by double-clicking on the file name.  You will see the Install/Reconfigure menu.

For PC (folder of installation files):

Please follow these steps if you downloaded a folder containing installer files (setup.exe, data2.cab, data3.cab, data4.cab,...) or if you installed from a USB drive.

1. Close all programs, then restart your computer.

2. Go to Start | Computer (or to This PC in Windows 8) and browse to the folder containing the installer files (the folder will have the name "BibleWorks 10 installation files" or "BibleWorks 10" in the location on your computer to which you previously downloaded or loaded the files).

3. Navigate to the file setup.exe in the folder named "BibleWorks 10 installation files" or "BibleWorks 10" and run it by double-clicking on the file name.  You will see the Install/Reconfigure menu.

For Mac:

1. Close all programs, then restart your Mac.

2. Go to Finder and double check that the ISO file is mounted and showing, in the list of drives on the left, as BW10DVD1. If it is not, please navigate to where you have saved this file by having followed these download instructions and click it to remount it under "Devices."

3. Start BibleWorks.

4. Select from the main menu BibleWorks | Add or Remove BibleWorks Content.  You will see the Install/Reconfigure menu.
