The capability exists to check media data integrity on most
versions of BibleWorks. (Unhappily, this capability does not exist for
BibleWorks 7 media.)
If your BibleWorks medium is a USB flash drive (i.e. for BibleWorks 10 and later), use the checking procedure here.
For CD and DVD media, proceed as follows: (When these instructions say Enter
something, press Enter after you've typed that thing.)
1. Double-click on the following:
http://www.bibleworks.com/support/et7br/BWCheckDisc.zip
or enter it into an Internet browser such as Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, or Mozilla
Firefox.
2. When a dialog box pops up asking what you want to
do, click on Open.
3. In the window that then opens, double-click on
BWCheckDisc.exe.
4. Insert the media to be tested into the computer and
click the button that says "Check BibleWorks CD/DVD Now." The checking
process may take several minutes, but ongoing status of the checking will be
reported in the upper right of the box.
5. If an error condition is reported, the disk may be
defective.
