The Notes window and the BibleWorks Editor window, both of which are tabs in the right-hand panel of the BibleWorks program interface, have an area at the very top that is called the "Header".  This area, called the Toolbar, contains icons for functions that can be performed in these windows.  (See the illustration below.)   It is possible to display or hide this toolbar, as preferred, and sometimes it has become hidden accidentally.

To restore the display of the Toolbar, take the following steps.

  1. Open the window in which the Toolbar is missing, whether Notes or Editor.
  2. Move the mouse pointer into the main area of that window.
  3. Click once with the right mouse button.  A popup context menu should appear.

  4. The entry "Show Toolbar" will not likely have a checkmark in front of it.  If so, move the mouse pointer over it and click once with the left mouse button.
  5. Adjust the display of the toolbar to display one line of tool icons or all icons at once, as preferred.  This is done with the icon in the upper left.
