The BibleWorks 10 .ISO installer file is very large and sometimes is incomplete or corrupted if your internet connection to our servers is unstable. Below are steps for testing the integrity of your .ISO installer file.

On a Mac:

  1. Mount the .ISO file. To mount the .ISO (making it appear like a hard drive), double-click on the .ISO file. The .ISO file will now appear on your computer as a Device in your Finder window named BW10DVD1.
  2. Install the latest BibleWorks Mac Installer (10-42 or later). Follow these steps to install the latest version of the Mac Installer.
  3. Now we are going to test the integrity of your .ISO file. Go to Applications, and while holding down your shift key start BibleWorks 10. This starts the BW Mac Installer in a troubleshooting mode.
  4. A BibleWorks menu will appear at the top of the screen. Select BibleWorks | Run Command.
  5. In the Run Command window, click Browse and go to the BW10DVD1 device.
  6. Double-click on BWCheckDisc.exe and click Run. The following window will appear as it checks the flash drive for errors:

The checking process may take several minutes, but the ongoing status of the test will be reported in the upper right of the box.
  7. If an error condition is reported, the .ISO file is corrupt or incomplete. You will need to re-download the .ISO file using a stable internet connection to our server. Please consult the original email you received from the BibleWorks store for download instructions.

On a Windows computer:

  1. Mount the .ISO file. To mount the .ISO (making it appear like a hard drive), right-click on the .ISO file and select Mount. If the Mount option does not appear, select Open with | Windows Explorer.  The .ISO file will now appear on your computer as a hard drive named BW10DVD1.
  2. Open Windows Explorer, and browse to the BW10DVD1 drive.
  3. Double-click on BWCheckDisc.exe. The following window will appear as it checks the flash drive for errors:

The checking process may take several minutes, but the ongoing status of the test will be reported in the upper right of the box.
  4. If an error condition is reported, the .ISO file is corrupt or incomplete. You will need to re-download the .ISO file using a stable internet connection to our server. Please consult the original email you received from the BibleWorks store for download instructions.
