Why Am I Prompted For Unlock or Activation Codes When BibleWorks Starts?AA-02772BibleWorks comes with a large number of resources ready to use out-of-the-box. There are, though, additional resources that can be added to the program as well. For BibleWorks 7, these were included on an additional CD in the package; for BibleWorks 5, 6, and 8, the files were included on the program installation disc(s).
During installation, if any of these additional (locked) databases have been installed to the computer, a prompt will display each time BibleWorks is started, since BibleWorks is configured by default to check for unlocked databases. It is possible to change the setting in BibleWorks so that the prompt box will not display, even when there are locked databases installed on the computer. To change the setting, take the following steps: 1. With BibleWorks running, open the OPTIONS dialog box. Last Updated: RG/May 6, 2009 |
