What Impact on BibleWorks Will Result from Adobe's 2020 Ending Update and Distribution of Flash Player?

Adobe has announced its intent to "stop updating and distributing the Flash Player by the end of 2020."  BibleWorks version 9 and earlier versions use Adobe's Flash Player to display embedded tutorial videos (BibleWorks 10 uses a different approach and is not affected).

The maximum impact on BibleWorks of Adobe's decision is that these videos could fail to play in these legacy BibleWorks versions after 2020.  Flash Player, though no longer updated, could conceivably continue to operate after that date.  But BibleWorks customers desiring to shield themselves fully from the impact of Adobe's decision should consider upgrading to the currently-distributed version of BibleWorks before the end of 2020.

There are, of course, other good reasons to upgrade to BibleWorks's current version, which contains more and better tools and much more content than its predecessors.
